The Elementary School mini-tournament is open to all children registered in the KSA after-school soccer Program in all the participating schools. This two-hour event is developmental and emphasizes player development over competition. On the day of the event, the K-2nd grade (U8) teams will be playing against each other, and so will the 3-5 grade teams (U10). In both divisions, the players from the same school will play with each other. Each player will receive a KSA t-shirt at the beginning of the event and a medal of participation at the end of the event. 

DAY AND TIME: November 16,  9:00 am - 11:00 am

LOCATION: Lynn Family Sport and Vision Center/Lou City and Racing training fields,

FORMAT

TEAMS: We have 30  players registered so far, and we are planning on having a total of 10  teams with 3 players on the field at one time, and 6 small fields. We are working to finalize the teams' rosters by Friday, 11.14  week.  Teams will be co-ed and mixed-aged, and we will try to keep the players in the same school together.

We will play "King of the Court" for a total of 6 rounds of 10 minutes on the 6 fields. The winner on field 1 ALWAYS stays on field # 1, the losing team in each field always go down, and the losing team on field 6 stays on this field,  the winning team always goes up.  FINALS: In round 7, we will play the final game on each field.

PARENTS:  Parents are allowed to stay close to the fields of play to cheer and support their players, and coaching will not be tolerated. 

WEATHER: We are planning on running the event rain or shine. In the case of thunderstorms or lightning, we will take the kids to the concession stand area.

• FINAL: In round 7, Finals will be played on each field. 

FIELDS: the field size is 30 by 35.
